400 Amp 2300-7200 Volts (Medium Voltage) The HCV-5HA, the first vacuum contactor produced in Houston, Texas, was also the first Toshiba vacuum contactor to incorporate an Electronic Drive unit to power the operating coils. This solid state design eliminated the economizing resistors and improved the reliability of the coil circuit. The contactor is available in either electrically maintained or latched type version. The compact size and high performance, as well as being available in a drawout design, has helped many OEMs and end-users replace old air-break contactors and breakers.

720 Amp, 2300-7200 Volts (Medium Voltage) This 720-ampere contactor replaces Toshiba's CV461M-KAT(L) and utilizes the latest vacuum and solid state technology developed by Toshiba. The HCV-6KA uses a solid state, electronic control (drive unit), to operate the contactor. The drive unit uses an electronic circuit, and any control voltage between 100V and 240V either AC or DC can be used without changing the coil and/or other parts. The contactor is available in either electrically maintained or latched type version. The HCV-6KA incorporates Toshiba's patented "Axial Magnetic Field Type Electrode" in the vacuum interrupters. This special design results in higher current interruption and smaller size than any other comparable design of interrupters.

600 Amp, 208-1500 Volt / 720 Amp, 208-1500 Volt (Low Voltage) The HCV-1JBU is Toshiba's 3rd Generation of 600A, low voltage vacuum contactor. With the HCV-1KAU, Toshiba offers the first true 720A, Low Voltage Vacuum Contactor (it does not use parallel vacuum interrupters per phase). The HCV-1KAU incorporates Toshiba's patented "Axial Magnetic Field Type Electrode" in the vacuum interrupters. This special design results in higher current interruption and smaller size than any other design of interrupters. The HCV-1JBU and HCV-1KAU contactors use a solid state, electronic control (drive unit), to operate the contactor. The drive unit uses an electronic circuit, and any control voltage between 100V and 240V either AC or DC can be used without changing the coil and/or other parts.

HA(L)/HB(L) 320 Amp, 12/15KV This 12/15KV contactor is unique in the market and is going into many applications where only vacuum circuit breakers were used in the past. The CV-10H offers a product of lower cost, smaller size, and over 10 times the life over medium voltage breakers. The HB model has been specially designed for capacitor switching, while the HA is for motor and transformer switching. The CV-10 is available in non-latched or latched type version.
