VMX Series

The VMX Series is a digitally programmable solid-state reduced voltage soft starter. Its six SCR design features a voltage/current ramp with an anti-oscillation circuit for smooth load acceleration. The SCRs are sized to withstand starting currents of 350% for 30 seconds and up to 600% for 10 seconds. The VMX Series features smooth, stepless ramp control, which reduces motor inrush current and excessive wear on the mechanical drive train components. The VMX Series includes a programmable keypad for setting operating parameters for the ideal starting cycle and protection features, plus easy to understand diagnostic LEDs. Starting torque, ramp time, current limit, dual ramp, and Decel control are standard features on the VMX Series, as well as the integrated Batch Process Timer and Time Clock Controller used for automated applications.

XLD Series

The XLD Series is a digitally programmable solid state reduced voltage soft starter. Its six SCR design features a voltage/current ramp with an anti-oscillation circuit for smooth load acceleration. The SCRs are sized to withstand starting currents of 500% for 60 seconds (compared to 350% for 30 seconds from other manufacturers). The XLD Series features smooth, stepless ramp control which reduces motor inrush current and excessive wear on the mechanical drive train components. In addition to having easy to understand diagnostic LEDs, the XLD Series includes a programmable keypad for setting operating parameters for the ideal starting cycle.

Starting torque, ramp time, current limit, dual ramp, and decel control are standard features on the XLD Series. By simply adjusting the unit’s starting torque, ramp time and current limit functions, the starting electrical characteristics of the motor can be matched to the mechanical characteristics of the drive train for controlled acceleration of the load.

DXT Series

The DXT Series is a high-end digitally programmable solid state reduced voltage soft starter. This heavy duty starter provides reduced voltage, stepless soft starting of 3-phase AC induction motors, protecting mechanical components from excessive torque stress and electrical systems from the effects of high motor inrush currents. The DXT Series includes advanced motor and load protection features just like those found in expensive motor protection relays. These include retentive thermal memory, dynamic reset capacity, true thermal modeling, separate trip curves for start and run protection, overload alarm, etc. But in the case of the DXT Series, these features are built in as standard features, providing a cost effective and reliable motor starting and protection scheme for your critical motor applications. The DXT Series features an easy to use interface operator for programming and status indication.
