S20 Series

The S20 is a Safety Switch without guard interlocking, which can always be used when the dangerous movement has stopped before the entering person can reach the point of operation. The S20 series Safety Switches have a housing made of fiberglass-reinforced plastic in accordance with protection rating IP 67. S200 Series

It is used with heavy doors or shutter doors in tough environments, i.e. it is preferred with "heavy duty" applications in which a process or production interruption is possible or may be required. The S200 series Safety Switches have a housing made of metal in accordance with protection rating IP 67.

S300 Series

S400 Series

S400 series Safety Hinge Switches are used for position monitoring of hard guards that can rotate (e.g. protective hoods) with a monitoring switch (without guard interlocking) integrated into the hinge. The S400 series was extended in order to simplify the installation further, especially for greater profile thicknesses. The Safety Hinge Switch S410 is also predestined for glass and plastic hoods since the fasteners, which lie further inward at a greater distance to the material's edge, provide additional stability.

As for almost all Safety Switches and Safety Locking Devices from Leuze electronic, the 2NC/1NO contact block is also available for the S410. As a result, safety-oriented applications can be extended to include signals for status messages. Installation effort is reduced considerably, as the user no longer needs the second sensor for the status signals.

The compact and economical L10 Safety Locking Device uses its locking function to prevent protective doors from opening.
