Leuze BCL 8 is a new wave in technology. It is the world's smallest barcode reader but not small in capability. It has a protection rating of IP 67. Its very small size makes it easy to mount in many small places. It is made out of metal (die cast zinc) making it very durable. For easy connection to the BCL 8 a MA 8 can be used. There are many different types of mounting systems and connecting cables for Leuze Lumiflex BCL 8.

Leuze BCL 21 / BCL 22 series has a protection rating of IP 65. It is designed to fit any compact scanning application. The small size of 82 x 68 x 28 mm and weight of only 180g makes it easy to incorporate this BCL while maintaining the space requirements of the application. The MA2 can be used to network several Leuze Electronic BCL 21s while the BCL 22 is a "stand alone" device not needing an external MA unit.

Leuze BCL 34 series has a protection rating of IP 65. This unit has been designed for Profibus and is the first that has a directly integrated Profibus DP interface. It is available with two different Profibus connection modules: MS 34 103 and MS 34 105. The BCL 34 bar code reader is also available with a modular service display: MS 1 101. The laser beams are on an angle of 10 degrees to the top to avoid a total reflection of the laser from for example glossy labels.

Leuze BCL 80 series has a protection rating of IP 65. These bar code readers have been designed for long distance readings. Leuze ZB8150 hand held series bar code reader has a broad scanning range and ergonomic design. The small size, and weight of only 155g makes it easy to incorporate this bar code reader while maintaining the space requirements of the application. Visible LED indicates successful scan while the rubber booted grips gives it the robustness required in the manufacturing industry.
