The DATAVS1 series is the easiest solution for machine vision applications. The setup is very quick
and intuitive thanks to the VSC unit, the external configurator with 3.5" colour display. The sensor setting is
carried-out through three simple steps: region of interest definition, control type selection, parameter adjusting. The
DATAVS1 is a fully embedded vision sensor able to acquire images, control them and activate the digital outputs according
to the result. The VSC unit can provide a real time monitoring of the images, but it is not required during the
functioning of the sensor and so it can be disconnected and used to setup multiple sensors. DATAVS1 is able to carry-out
8 different controls: Brightness, Contrast, Position, Width, Edge
counting, Pattern match, Pattern match counting, OCV. Its flexibility together with the VSC configurator make the sensor
ideal for plants with frequent format changes (packaging, food, cosmetic, bottling, labelling, ...).
- The vision sensor can be easily configured through the VSC monitor without the need of a PC.
- The DataVS1 compact dimensions (70 x 52 x 40 mm) allow to install the device even in extremely narrow spaces.
- The VGA resolution guarantees high quality images thus allowing to check even the smallest details.
- The wide range of controls allows to use one model to solve many different kinds of control.

The DATAVS2 vision sensor series presents all the characteristics able to solve artificial machine vision
applications in a flexible and intuitive way. DATAVS2 is a completely embedded device: the optic, the red LED illuminator and
the electronics are included in an extremely compact housing. The sensor is configured via PC through Ethernet communication.
The configuration software is included in the product and it has been developed in order to lead the customer through the
configuration process step by step.
DATAVS2 is available in three different versions according to the installed control tools: Object
Recognition (OBJ), Advanced Object Recognition (AOR) and Identification (ID). Many different control typologies are
available: brightness, contrast, position, width, count, pattern match, contour match, 360° pattern match,
Barcode & Datamatrix Reader, OCV. DATAVS2 is ideal for the control of
text presence in overprinting and logo position on food packages, product completeness before packaging, logo position on
cosmetic bottles, correct stamp on post envelopes, liquid level inside a plastic bottle, correct product orientation on a
conveyor belt, barcode and datamatrix reading.

The SCS 1 Smart Camera offers visual inspection and identification functionalities, with the simplicity,
dimensions and prices of an advanced sensor. Applications including multiple measurements, control of surfaces and object
positions are successfully carried-out. The illumination can be integrated or external. A complete range of illuminators is
available as accessories, connectable by a standard M8 plug. The sensor is a completely integrated device and can work in a
stand-alone mode, without any external control. The configuration is made through a Host PC via an Ethernet port, thanks to
an user-friendly graphic interface supplied with the product. Otherwise, built-in keyboard and display allow the user to
change directly sensor parameters and configuration. Two PNP outputs activated according to the inspection, configurable
inputs and RS232 or RS485 serial interfaces are present on the standard M12 connector. The standard CS or C-mount optics are
interchangeable.
- High flexibility thanks to a wide range of inspection tools
- Graphical User Interface for an easy device configuration
- High quality VGA resolution images
- Standard C-Mount interchangeable lenses
- Ethernet, RS-232 and RS-485 integrated interfaces

Banner Area Lights
can be mounted within your existing inspection independent of the vision sensor's optical axis. You can change the direction or
distance of the light for improved optical contrast without adding fixtures or realigning the inspected parts. Indirect lighting
can improve image quality by eliminating glare and hotspots and creating shadows that highlight raised features.

Lenze Drives
The Memory Module is the storage unit for all
parameters. The pluggable memory chip can be parameterised via the frequency inverter itself or using a PC. Once this is
complete, you can copy the parameter settings to as many modules as you wish. The advantage this offers you is that commissioning
takes significantly less time, in particular where series production is concerned. Furthermore, thanks to the memory
module,
