SG BODY COMPACT is the new family of Datalogic Automation Type 2 and Type 4 safety light curtains for body protection and access control able to rapidly and effectively solve all the industrial safety applications mainly in automotive field, packaging and material handling. MUTING version series satisfy all applications that require the Muting function, thanks to the use of preassembled, pre-cabled and prealigned Muting sensors. The SAFEasy light curtains, according to the IEC 61496-1 e IEC 61496-2 standards, are suitable for detecting the human body when approaching dangerous areas. Models with different standard heights (500, 800, 900, 1200 mm), with 2, 3, 4 beams and operating distance reaching 50 m are available. The safety light curtains of the SE4T-L MUTING series satisfy all applications that require the Muting function, thanks to the use of pre-assembled, pre-cabled and pre-aligned Muting sensors. The user can configure the manual or automatic Restart, L or T Muting mode, a 10' or infinite Muting time-out as well as the EDM function. All models are equipped with a luminous Muting signalling lamp built-in on the top of the receiving unit.

The SAFEasy light curtains, conforming with the IEC 61496-1 and IEC 61496-2 standards, are particularly suitable for body protection of operators exposed to risk. The device is composed of a SE4-RA1 active unit, contained inside a sturdy aluminium profile and a SE4-RDB passive unit developed with integrated reflectors, or with 2 SE4-RSM deviating mirrors supplied as accessories.

The detection height is 500 mm and the operating distance reaches 7.5 m for the linear version or 3 m for the 'L' and 'T' versions. The Restart, Muting, EDM and Muting time-out functions are integrated and selectable through the dip-switches present in the active unit. 'L' or 'T' shaped versions are available for applications requiring the Muting function, equipped with one or two active bars with integrated retroreflective sensors on one side and one or two passive bars with integrated reflectors on the other side. The SE4-R light curtains represent a reliable and cost-effective alternative to light curtains with active units on emitter and receiver sides thanks to reduced costs and installation time as well as the advantage of cabling only the active unit.
