The VLT Decentral Drive FCD 302 is the new generation of the highly successful VLT Decentral FCD 300, based on the VLT AutomationDrive FC 302 platform.

The VLT Decentral FCD 300 is a complete frequency converter designed for decentral mounting. The need for long screened motor cables is also reduced.

The VLT FCM 300 Series is a very compact alternative to the traditional solution with a VLT frequency converter and motor as separate units. No panel space is required. The DriveMotor is placed on the machine.

VLT Soft Starter MCD 100

The VLT Soft Starter is a cost effective and extremely compact soft starter for AC motors from 1.1 kw - 11 kW. Due to a unique semiconductor design it is a true "fit and forget" product. Selection can be made on the basis of the motor power - exactly as with traditional contactors. MCD 100 products provide timed voltage ramp up and down. Ramp time can be individually adjusted with rotary switches from 0.4 to 10 seconds. The start torque can be adjusted from 0 to 85% of the direct on-line torque.

VLT Soft Starter MCD 200

The VLT Compact Starter MCD 200 is a compact and cost effective soft starter range for applications where direct-on-line starting is undesirable. MCD 200 is, because of its size and functionality, a good alternative to other reduced voltage starting methods such as star/delta starters. MCD 201 is the basic version offering timed voltage ramps. MCD 202 is the advanced version providing current limit soft start, timed voltage ramp down, and motor protection.

VLT OneGearDrive System

The OneGearDrive is designed especially for use in the food and beverage industry. It comes in two versions, the HygienicDrive and the Standard version. The HygienicDrive is certified for use in clean rooms and the pharmaceutical industry. The compact construction of the OneGearDrive makes it especially suitable for mounting on transport and conveyor systems.

In both versions the complete smooth, easy to clean surface without cooling fins prevents pockets of dirt from forming and allows cleansing agents to drain off freely. The fanless motor avoids the risk of air-borne germs and dirt particles being drawn in and then expelled back into the surrounding air.

VLT Line Filter MCC 107 for Micro Drive

The VLT Micro Drive Line Filter combines a harmonic filter and an EMC filter to improve the low frequency and high frequency performance of the line current to the VLT Micro Drive. There are three different frame sizes of line filters corresponding to the M1, M2 and M3 enclosures of the VLT Micro Drive. The VLT Line Filter ensures compliance with EN55011 class A1 for up to 50m of motor cable, and class B up to 10m of motor cable.

Reducing the voltage ripple on the DC link will result in higher reliability and longer drive lifetime. Under similiar running conditions (temperature, load), the expected lifetime of the DC capacitors may be extended by 2-3 times. The VLT Line Filter will reduce the RMS value of line current. A smaller line current means higher true power-factor (PF). Typically, line current can be reduced by more than 40% and improve PF from 0.4 to 0.7 for single-phase drives and 0.47 to 0.9 for three-phase drives.
